The Independent Filmmakers Coalition (IFC) of Kansas City is a non-profit membership organization that promotes regional independent film, video and media production. Their focus is on education, networking, and resource sharing among independent filmmakers in the community.

A united group of Kansas City area educational, cultural and film organizations focused on local independent filmmaking. They provide opportunities for the filmmaker to develop their craft and art, and increase public awareness and support of local filmmaking as a cultural and economic asset.

A non-profit organization founded in 2004 in Springfield Missouri to encourage and celebrate film, television, and all other moving media in the state. Comprised of Missouri filmmakers, teachers, actors and other professionals, they provide education designed to bring media production to the state, as well as providing a forum for the exchange of creative ideas and information. They also host the Show-Me Missouri International Film Festival.
