Founded in 1979, IFP is a not-for-profit membership and advocacy organization supporting the independent film community. Their programs provide information, resources, networking and support to filmmakers, and connects creative talent with the film industry.

A non-profit organization dedicated to fostering an active and living appreciation of the film arts in the Twin Cities and greater Minnesota. They provide presentation, production, and advocacy to that end, including hosting two annual film festivals, The Childish Film Festival and the Minneapolis/St Paul International Film Festival.
