The Foundation sponsors the annual Phoenix Film Festival and the International Horror and Sci-Fi Festival. They also run IFP-Phoenix which promotes education and cooperation within the Arizona film community, aned the Phoenix Film Society, a community for film-goers which supports independent film and the Phoenix Film Festival.

Founded in 1979, IFP is a not-for-profit membership and advocacy organization supporting the independent film community. Their programs provide information, resources, networking and support to filmmakers, and connects creative talent with the film industry.
