Founded in 1991, the annual spring film festival in Maitland, Florida just outside of Orlando. Produced by Enzian Theater, the Florida Film Festival showcases American and foreign independent films including narrative and documentary features and shorts, animation, midnight movies, and a full array of educational forums, glamorous parties, and other special events. The filmmakers are often present for their screenings and the festival prides itself on it's "casual interactive environment."

Founded in 1984 this annual event's mission is to "bridge cultural understanding, endorse tolerance and encourage artistic development." They feature exceptional, international, independent documentaries and features. Sponsored by Miami Dade College.

Now in its 22nd year, The Fort Lauderdale International Film Festival showcases more than 200 films from the United States and abroad at events that take place for more than a month! Parties and gatherings at area "hot spots", on board yachts, and on the beach will provide audiences an opportunity to meet and discuss film with the filmmakers and with other film afficianados.

Cinema Paradiso is South Florida's most unique art house movie theater presenting films from around the world. Moviegoers enjoy comfortable, plush stadium seating, along with a full bar, lobby and courtyard tables. The theater showcases independent film, extreme sport film, anime, local films and other specialty presentations. Virtually all the films presented at the theater will be the only South Florida screening. Also the Fort Lauderdale International Film Festival.
