A division of the Toronto International Film Festival Group, from mid-October to mid-August, th Cinematheque offers an ambitious selection of approximately 395 screenings in one of the city's finest cinema facilities, Jackman Hall in the Art Gallery of Ontario. Programmes include director retrospectives, special guest appearances, national and regional cinema spotlights, and thematic series.

The historic Bloor Cinema has been a Toronto landmark for over 100 years. Seating more than 800 in both modern and classic style, the Bloor remains the ultimate place to see movies the way they were meant to be seen. The Bloor not only presents a variety of indie and mainstream film from across Canada and around the world, but is often host to a myriad of film festivals, gala events, and world premiers.
