Founded in 1972, moved to it's new location in 1990, and made non-profit in 2002, the Loft Cinema is Tucson’s Member-Supported, Community Owned Independent art-house theatre showing films ranging from small-budget independent to more mainstream art films from around the world. Guest filmmakers, both well-established and emerging, also visit from around the world for seminars and after film discussions.
